Update-11:30 p.m.
Honestly, my heart is crying out for my little girl. It has been a rough bout tonight emotionally for Jalin and all of our family. Mrs. Lori has been strong but somewhat helpless herself. Jalin has awaken from the trauma that she has had to undergo. Everytime we go see her she gets real emotional and upset crying out to us for help. She is seemingly so scared and lonely. The doctors say the trend is quite normal. I know God is with us and with Jalin and so are all of you. I have been through many trials before in my life and seen a lot being in the Ministry, but this one has crushed my spirit. I have preached many times and even shared with Jalin "How can we really help somebody unless we have been through the fire ourselves". Now we await with great expectation! We know the "Greatness of God!" I love you and thank you for loving Jalin. I am forever grateful for you!

Hi everyone,
Jalin's surgery yesterday was a shining success. Thank you Lord! God bless Dr. Rena Stewart! Her post op was great! After surgery when we saw her, she looked radiant! The peace and favor of God was all over her. To see her in that horrible traction from the last three days was undescribable. I told everyone, "Our God is so Great!" We are very encouraged.
Granny, Dino, Sherry, and Brady had to go home, but they didn't want to. Jalin had a huge number of visitors this day--60 or so. Can you believe it? She is loved beyond measure!
At the last visiting time at 8:30 Jalin had a new lung tube to draw off the excess fluid. That really deflated us, but they told us it was ok. She just has a lot of fluid build up from the trauma. This helped her blood pressure and heart rate to come down. Through the night she did fine.
Jessica and I watched the video from church Friday night. It was awesome what the Lord did! I can't wait to show Jalin.
Today is Tuesday. This morning Jalin's condition was the same. She looked good and was alert. She even shook her head, "no" when Darryl asked her to play the piano. She thought he meant right now. Our last visit was kind of nervy because Jalin's temp was 102 and her heart was racing faster. The doctor said it was most likely pain and anxiety from her trying to wake up. Please pour your heart out to God again tonight on her behalf. Thank you! I love yall!

How Awesome !! I know that it a great releif for the family to see the improvements. Everyday is going to be a little brighter and we will continue to pray for all of you. Mrs. Lori it is good to know that you are o.k. and your 7B class misses you so much and is praying for a speedy recovery for Jalin.

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to tell you I love you and your family. I have faith in the Lord to heal your hearts and heal Jalin day by day. The Lord is too powerful for our imagination. I can't imagine what it is like to be in your shoes as of right now. I can't wait to see Jalin! I was really not liking Ranburne,Alabama but let me tell you something... what happened October the 29th helped this little town out! I felt like everyone was fighting and things were crazy... then all this happened and to see the kids at the hospital all come together and just hold one another.. It astonished me into a million little pieces!! You know I take a lot of stuff for granted ...like living in Ranburne but honestly we do love each other. We may seem like we hate each other sometimes and we may not see eye to eye on a lot of things.. or even go seperate ways.. everyone pulls together and that's what I love so much! It hurt me so bad to hear about Jalin. You know how stories get turned around so much, I just got to Tanner as quick as I could. I know I'm just rambling..but really if any of you need ANYTHING in the world just please tell me. I love y'all and I'm praying for y'all. Oh and my preacher.. Brother Ken Bowman told me to tell you that Liberty Baptist was praying for you all!

You get right with God, and claim his promises and he will, and did deliver. The promises claimed were to put this in His hands and he will take care of it, and He is. The other was "Ask and you will receive" so ask for Jalin's health to be restored to new and look at the news we have received already. Put this in His hands and do not take it back. See the wonderful work of God throughout this whole journey. Jalin, you are going to be OK because this is in God's hands.
ReplyDeleteI have been Praying for you Jalin. Thinking of you and what your going through made me think of how blessed it is to be one of Gods Kids. He can do amazing things. Some ask How do you know he can do amazing things, well for one, Look at what he is doing for you, we cant beat that. Im so happy that we can say we are one of Gods Children. I thank him for what he is doing for you, some people just dont realize how good they they think they have it, but without God, they have nothing. When Crystal called and told me that there was a wreck on 46, i left school then, because being in the fire department i thought it was our coverage area, well come to find out our department was directing traffic but once i go there and found out that it was yall that had the wreck i said a prayer for you, but i know as well as you do my prayer was one of MANY said at that time. Jalin you have got so many friends and so many people praying for you, so you dont need to worry about anything, God is got you in his care right now and He will Heal you, So keep Praying and everything will be ok. Please trust Him, it may take a while but He is going to kick the Devils tail and you will be just fine. I will continue to Pray for a Quick/ full recovery and hope to see you soon.

ReplyDeleteAs I sit here reading the comments being posted, with tears flowing, I am in awe...awe at what the Lord is doing in and through you...the healing that is taking place not only in Jalin's body, but our church body, and even our community. Sometimes it takes painful situations to help us see clearly and to refocus our attention on the important things in life. It may be a long road ahead but just know you are surrounded by friends and family that love you and holding you up in prayer. Stand firm in your callings, believing in the promise that you won't have to endure more than you can handle and that in a little while, God's mercy and grace will come shining through. Character is built through trials and perseverance brings joy. It won't be long until all this is a memory and a testimony of God's amazing love.

This morning as I arose and learned of our next President, I realized this world is changing. I asked God to be w/ us during these changing times. I thought of Jalin and when she fully wakes up and realizes the changes in her body and life. I thought of her family and the changes they are going thru now as "normal" life has shut down and they are totally focused on Jalin and her recovery. It only takes a moment for change to occur; we must be ready!! I'm so thankful Jalin was ready - I anticipate her testimony, I'm thankful she has godly parents and a strong church and community to lift her up in prayer. I'm so thankful for many of God's blessings today; no matter what our nation's situation is or our personal lives, God is in control! I expect Jalin's realization of this event will be one of her most difficult recoveries. I pray right now that God give you comfort Jalin as all is revealed to you, that you are able to find peace and that love restores you. I'm good friends with Emily Robertson's family and Megan Robinson's family. Even though I don't know your beautiful daughter personally, I've been keeping up with her through your blog and through Emily. See, last July, I watched my son fight for his life for over two months in the NICU at UAB because he was born 2 1/2 months early, so my heart not only cries out for your beautiful daughter but also for the both of you. It is so amazing to hear of the incredible miracles God is doing in your daughter! Each night as I pray over my son, I always lift up your daughter too. You are the parents of another of God's miracles. I pray you find peace in the arms of Jesus throughout this time. ReplyDeleteI have been keeping up with your blog on a daily basis and I am so touched by all that has happened and what God has done already through Jalin and your family. As a parent one of the hardest things is to feel helpless, I 've been there myself so I can share in the way you feel. The road ahead may be long and sometimes overwhelming but GOD will prevail and will keep you close during the hard times. It's not the storms that we go through but how we handle those storms that really matters. I pray that God will give all of you the physical and spiritual strength that only HE can provide. Jalin is already a Miracle and I believe many more will come from this trial. We all know that prayer is life changing and God is in control of this situation. We love all of you.

just wanted to let the family know we pray every night for Jalin and Bro.Darryl and Lori. I have come to know them by the Friday morning breakfast at Ranburne Baptist I was there last year when I heard Jalin's beautiful angel voice sing. There has already been a miracle in her, and the glory of God will shine in all of this Bro. Darryl our pastor's son was in a wreck several year's ago and by God's grace he is alve and well today and serving God. I know you are physically, and spiritually tired and worn but know you have a big family in Ranburne Al. that is praying and lifting you up. We Love ya'll and we are praying.
