We praise you oh Lord, Glorious Healer, the Great Physician! We are so grateful for the miracle of Jalin's healing. We know what Satan meant for harm, God meant for good! Romans 8:28 and Jer. 29:11. We have prayed (along with thousands of others) for Jalin's healing and God has richly answered our prayers. Thank you Lord for your protection over all the girls in the wreck. Thank you Lord for Tanner and UAB that took care of Jalin (also the transport teams). Thank you for fantastic doctors, nurses, and assistants who worked on Jalin. Thank you family, church family, and friends for all of your love, support, and prayers for us! We are so humbled by the enormous outpouring of love. As Darryl would say, "Ain't God good?!" (sorry English students-that was not proper grammar-lol).
We rejoice that Jalin is healing and doing so well. We are so grateful that the ortho surgeons decided not to make Jalin have the 2 other surgeries. On both areas, they feel the risks outweigh the benefits of surgically mending her front pelvic and her collar bone. God will mend them completely and without any complications for the future. We are confident that, "He who began a good work in her, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ!"
I am thankful for Jalin who has been so strong and such a trooper during this whole trial. I am thankful to Darryl, Jordan, Jessica, Granny, and Dino for being right there with us. Thanks to everyone who called, prayed, thought of us, sent cards, money, or treats to us, and visited with us. We are truly blessed and thankful.

Wonderful news again! Praise the Lord for Jalin's continued recovery! Lori, things are still going well in school. You are getting a new sub who has a communication degree on Monday. I talked with her today and offered my assistance at any time. Mrs. Eason started the book Tuck this week. The library has a classroom set, so we thought that would be something easy for a sub. Don't worry! School is fine. Continue to take care of Jalin and let us handle this end for you. We love you and are praying that God will continue to bless your whole family. She has been blessed by a wonderful God!! I have got to say you have been a great inspiration to me and I am sure, others as well. From the day of the accident, I saw you there, no tears, I knew you were praying. I knew you were totally depending on God. I could see it and hear it in your words, as you kept us updated since then. You showed me how we are suppose to be in a trial, troubled as a mother, as a human being would be, but also KNOWING God was in control. Powerful!!
We love you all so much and miss you!! Tell Jalin we think of her and pray for her many times a day. Keep rejoicing, we have an awesome God!

What great news to hear after a long day at school!! We wore our Jalin shirts today. There were so many and it was so touching. I know everyone is relieved to know you won't have to have surgery. That is truly another miracle from our maker!! There are some people in the world that think miracles ceased when our Lord left this earth and went to heaven. But we as Bible believing, born again Christians, know this isn't so. We serve a miracle working God that has come on the scene and performed many miracles on you!!! We can never give Him all the praise and glory he rightfully deserves!!But one thing we can do,is give Him our best now and forever. GOD IS WONDERFUL AND HE IS WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I am so relieved to hear the knews that Jalin is not going to have to have the surgeries on her front pelvic and collarbone. Another glorious day in the Lord - the leaves have fallen, the wind is blowing, the temperature has dropped - it's an awesome fall day outside. I wish each of you were able to enjoy the outside. But I know you are where God has purposed you to be. I know that God has a purpose we can never understand; we will never comprehend His amazing wisdom. Each of you have been an inspiration to all of us, your faith, strength, determination, and obedience have been an example to each of us for when we face our own struggles. ReplyDeleteWow girl! I'm amazed at how God has been using you in the past 2 or 3 weeks. You have an amazing story to tell! I know it has been hard on you, but God will never give you more than you can't handle. I've heard about the hundreds of souls that have been saved, it's amazing! Jeremy was talking to us last Wednesday night about how the number 5 represents grace in the bible. I just wanted to tell you that God's grace was all over you and the other girls that night! 5 beautiful girls were in the car, I truely believe that he shed his grace all over y'all(: There isn't a day that goes by that I dont't pray for your healing and for your family's comfort. I am so glad to hear that you're doing better. I know that you have a long road ahead of you, but you are coming along great! I can't wait to see you! You be strong and keep fighting!
