Hi,
I am so full this morning! I have been crying tears of joy all morning, and I wanted to tell you all about last night. Jalin walked from the car, up three steps, into the gym, and through the gym to sit with the cheerleaders. She got a standing ovation from the fans. I cried tears of joy at what God has done in our lives. It was a huge pinnacle in Jalin's recovery and healing! Thank You Lord! I praise You Oh Lord! Thanks for your continued prayers. We go back to therapy tomorrow.

Day 90-January 26, 2009
Hello Everyone,
This is finally the 90th day, the day we have been waiting on! Jalin went to therapy at Southern Therapy today! She did great! Sarah worked with Jalin on her stability on her feet, strength in her feet and legs, and had her do exercises with 2 lb. weights on her legs. She walked between parallel bars and around the office with a walker. She even went up three steps. When we got home, Jalin walked all around the house without a walker! She is still shaky when walking, but her muscles will strengthen, and her ligaments and joints will loosen up with practice. She had a great day and is so excited to get back to her normal activites soon. Thank you for your prayers and love for us. We are so blessed by each of you and we love you dearly! God bless you!

Day 86- January 22, 2009
Hello Everyone,
I am sorry we haven't posted any news in a few weeks. I was just going to give a quick update on Jalin. She has only four days before therapy starts. She is so excited! She says she will be walking quickly. She has already been standing some. She looks great! We have visited the school once and she is working on her chemistry assignments at home. She has also been playing and singing a lot more lately. Her voice has really came back fully! We are excited for her and so thankful for her healing!
I hope you have already gotten a ticket for the March 21st Youth Rally called "Come Together 2009". It is sold out at about 820 tickets. Darryl will be talking about Jalin's Journey, Jalin is going to sing, and the band Decemberadio will be leading our worship. It starts at 4:00 CST on that Saturday. We are going to worship, praise, and thank the Lord for all He has done! God bless you all. We love you and will inform you after therapy on Monday.

Day 72- Thursday, January 8, 2009
Hello Everyone,
Hope you all are well. Just wanted to praise God with our report from Dr. Stewart at UAB today. She is the surgeon who operated on Jalin. She said Jalin looks great and is healing wonderfully. She did x rays and said that Jalin can begin physical therapy on Monday, January 26th. That is about a week earlier than the expected 90 days! We take anything we can get as a total blessing of God! She will go to Southern Therapy in Carrollton 2 days a week for 8 weeks to work on standing and walking again. Jalin's goal is to go to the prom on March 20 ( the end of the 8 weeks of therapy). We rejoice and praise God for Jalin's healing! Thanks for praying for her! We love each one of you!

Day 66- Friday, January 2, 2009
Hello everyone,
Happy New Year! Wow it is hard to believe that 2008 is past and 2009 has begun! We pray that your new year is prosperous and blessed. I have been reflecting on the past year for a few days, and have been thanking God for His hand of mercy and protection. There were some extremely hard times this past year like my dad's death and Jalin's car accident. I am so thankful for the comfort and mercy that God provided to us. He has truly never left or forsaken me or my family. He is sooooo good!
Jalin is doing remarkably well. We have decided to continue home schooling until she is able to walk. I don't think she is ready to go back to school in the wheelchair, and it is very dangerous maneuvering around the trailer village at school without my help. We go back to the doctor on the 8th. Prayerfully she will let Jalin stand on her legs some or maybe even miraculously let her walk. The x-rays will tell us if her pelvic bone is healed. Please keep praying for Jalin. We love you all and pray the best for you!
