Today has been for the most part a Great Day! Jalin has worked real hard at getting better. She has been sitting up and for the first time and rolled over on her stomach- After 18 days on her back- Believe me, That is a Big Victory for her. She is eating better and actually ate a bit of her favorite chicken caesar salad for supper. "Who Knows"? What is so amazing is that she had such a great day after hearing some yukky news this morning. The doctors have decided to leave her chest tube in for another couple of days. It seems after they pulled the last tube her lung fell 40% so she is still struggling with her collapsed lung. Please continue to help us move our mountain with prayer. Specifically- Please pray for Jalins lungs. Pray that they will heal without surgery. May God honor your request.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that Jalin is doin better!!! I am keepin her in my prayers!!! I am hoping to come up there as soon as she is up for company!!! Hopefully she won't have to have surgery!!! And it is great news that she rolled over on her back after that long!!! Indiana said to tell ya'll hey and that she is prayin also!!! Tell Jalin that I love her and I am ready to see her and EVERYBODY misses her!!!!

Jalin that's wonderfull news. What a awesome God we serve! We will continue to pray for your lungs. They will get better. God will heal them without any surgery. Exodus 15:26 - He said, "If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all of his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you." I know that's what God is going to do for you.

We haven't made the trip to see you because we know so many people have and you need to heal, but I promise you, we are all "Keepin the home fire a burnin!"
