Day 4-November 1
Today Jalin's heart rate has been up a little. They did on EKG and found that the heart was normal. They speculate that her pain is causing the increased heart rate. They raised her meds. She is much better now, her rates are decreasing. They were able to put in the feeding tube and is being fed by the tube. Her ventilator has been cut back even more today, which means she is breathing a little more on her own. She has developed a sinus infection and they are treating it with antibiotics. Her sweet nurse, Jessie, decorated her room today with everyone's cards and items of love. LOTS of people visited the family in the waiting room today. We have had lots of calls, texts, emails, blog posts, and wall posts. We are overwhelmed and grateful for everyone's outpouring of love.

ReplyDeletePastor Darryl - Today's Quiet Time made me think immediately of you. It is from Mark 3:13-21, when Jesus appoints His disciples. The commentary is telling about the differences in the disciples and it says, "But these men do have something in common; they are all "ordained" to a new purpose in life, (1) to be with Jesus; and (2) to be sent forth to preach the Good News about Jesus. Over time, Jesus trains them, molds them, and teaches them. Christ takes WEAKNESS and develops strength. Christ takes ordinary men and makes them extraordinary. It is not their natural talent, but the infusing of His power that brings transformation to these men."
I felt led to share that with you this morning. God Bless you all today!!
I am praying for Jalin and your family. May God's love, grace and strength guide you through this difficult time. God bless you all.

Jalin, my families prayers and the prayers of literally thousands are being sent your way every time i turn around. I PRAISE GOD for the things he has done and will continue to do in your body. The miracles that have taken place already in your life have touched and changed the lives of many here and i know the same has taken place there. From where i sit though this is only the begining of the new life and testimony you have and will have afterwards, glorifying Gods name and power. I pray that Gods peace and comfort is wrapped around you and your family and loved ones around you. I love you guys and wish i could be there.
