Good Evening,
Jalin was dismissed from the Hospital today around noon. "Yeah"! Jordan escorted us all the way home. The ride went well dispite the cram packed car. We recieved one huge welcome from Ranburne High School & Elementary School. The Hospital staff hated for us to go. Our 9th floor Church was saddened but excited. Meanwhile at home, Students, Staff, Teachers, Administration crowded around the track at the school as we paraded Jalin in a victory Ride. (Way to go guys!) Our family was so touched by the outpouring of love and encoraging chants of JALIN, JALIN. We are so glad to be back in Ranburne Alabama. Friends, words can not express the feelings I have in my heart for all of you. I know that our Lord is smiling as well, at the way you have adored his children and one another. You will never know this side of heaven the way that God has protected you for your acts of kindness. Jalin has done well today and she is so glad she is home. Please pray as we transition into this temporary life adjustment. The hard part for her is that she can not walk, and she has been instructed to stay off any load bearing positions for 10 more weeks. That is tough for her. She still has cuts and wounds from all the trauma and I have to give her two shots a day. That's faith from Jalin- huh. Thank you all for allowing our family to rest today. I know soon - we are going to throw a PARTY! Yeah!
Nite Nite!
Pastor Darryl - Mark 5:19 Meditate on His word
P.S. - Tonight - We rolled Jalin in front of the Piano - and she played with passion a few minutes of - "This is the air I breathe" Heaven came down! She says God is inspiring her to write a Song!
Looking Forward to the days ahead! Please continue to Worship and Praise Our Lord! He is our everything!

Hey Jalin!
ReplyDeleteWords can't express how happy I was to see you sitting in your car today. I have missed you so much and I am so glad you are better and excited to see how fast you heal over the next few weeks.
Wish I could have heard your sing tonight, but I know our turn will come in the future.
You just rest, take care of yourself, love your family, and remember we are all praying for you and cheering you on. GO JALIN! GO JALIN!
I love you and if you need anything please let me know.
Love Ya, Tina
Ms Lori,
I was speechless when I saw you today, (hard to believe, huh). But for a split second I was just overcome with thoughts of all you have been through these past few weeks. But the smile on your face as tears rolled down your cheeks was PRICELESS.
As a mom, I know there is nothing worse than seeing your child sick or hurt especially as sick as Jalin has been. I want you to know I have always thought you were an awesome lady, but there are no words to describe what I saw in you over these last weeks.
To see the strength you have had through all this is unbelievable, but such an example of the faith you have. Your family made it through this trial because of the faith you had & the prayers you prayed. God honored you because of who you are. Stay strong Lori and know how much I LOVE YOU! Tina

ReplyDeleteWe are all so happy that you have gotten to come home. I know that it didn't seem quick to you, but it's just amazing that you have come this far in 3 weeks. I know the doctors have to be as amazed as us at what god has done. Just have to tell you how excited Peyton was that he got to see you yesterday. He told his teacher that he went to your church and told me about seeing you too. He has been praying for you and last night he thanked God for healing you so you could come home. He also prayed that you wouldn't ever have to go back. I will continue to pray for you and your family and we can't wait to see you soon!
ReplyDeleteWith love,

Jalin,
ReplyDeleteOur GOD is wonderful !!!! So many prayers have been answered for your family. Jalin you are a miracle!! Just like Amy when she and Cole had their wreck, we was not sure from second to second what that piece of bone from her vertebra was going to do, if it had turned loose it would have paralyzed her. God had such wonderful plans for her and he does for you too!!! Like with Amy, thru you GOD's Love, Grace and Power has shown thru with such a bright shining light. I have no doubt that you will completly heal, there is nothing that our God can't do. Just remember we all love you very very much !!!
and Lori and Darryl,
As a parent that has been there I know what you are going thru, I know your faith is strong enough, it has been a blessing just to know your family and I am so thankful that Amy, Cole, Bo and Creed have such good neighbors and friends in their life, If you need anything at all you know you only have to call.
With all my love and prayers,
Sandra Brown

Jalin and family,
ReplyDeleteI hope everything is going well at home. I'm sure there are major adjustments you have had to make, but I'm hoping you are resting better and are more comfortable in your own bed at home, surrounded by your family, and so much love. I pray you continue to improve and regain your strength. I pray your lungs are healthier with each passing breath and that you are at peace, and without pain.
We are looking foward to hearing more good news as your journey continues and rejoice at your many accomplishments thus far. If you need someone to run errands or need help in any way we are here for you. God bless.
Love and prayers, Cindy, Denis, and Abbi Sprewell
