What a Grand and Glorious God we serve! "I Wouldn't Take Nothing For My Journey Now" Honestly, I couldn't hardly sing this 3 weeks ago. But now, I know that the Lord has purposely loaded our wagon. How dare satan attack the Family Of God. There has been tons of souls saved, a multitude of I'm sorry's said, priorities for many have been re aligned. What Satan meant for harm- God will and has used for Good! I know all of you have hugged your children tighter and hurt for Jalin and our family. With that being said- We are coming home tomorrow morning. Yeah!!!!! Praise God!
The doctors have urged rest for Jalin and all of her family for the next several days. I know again if given the green light - we would be flooded with visitors(hundreds) and food and such. Y'all have done so much already! We (Doctors and Family) in the best interest of Jalin -(Emotionally and physically) are asking all of our friends and Church to please be patient with us as we unwind from this painful trauma experience. We have everything we need and I am going to be cooking myself- They say that the smell of cooking is good therapy for the home ( as long as I don't burn it huh!) I love to cook. Again, thank you for your concern and love during this time of our lives! All I know is- It Is On! "May The Redeemed Of The Lord Say So"! What a wonderful Thanksgiving Gift from God- My Family will be Home!

ReplyDeleteWhen you called me today, I just was so overwhelmed that I wanted to cry for joy. I have cryed so many tears lately, but these are sweet tears of relief. Dino and I are so very gratful to God and a multitude of wonderful caring doctors and nurses for how far you have come. We just can't wait for you to be home. We know that Mom, Dad, Jordan, Jessica and you are going to get more rest at home. I also know that Dino and I will rest better now that you are on the mend. We miss you very much. We have gotten so used to being with you everyday that it's hard to stay home. We will see you tomorrow and help you get settled. I just can't wait. We will thank God again and again for all he has done for you.

I have some bad news so I'll get that out of the way first. This morning my father had another stroke, and he has to stay at the hospital for a while, and I hope you would keep him in your prayers. That being said, I am so happy for you. Jalin has been one of the foremost things in my prayers, and the news that she will be able to go home is wonderful. I'm sorry I never made it to Birmingham, but let me know when you're allowing visitors. My mother lives right down the road, and I'll walk if I have to. You can usually get me at 770-990-6763.

Today is the day we have all been waiting for. In just a few hours you all will be on your way home. I know you have a lot ahead of you as you continue on your journey, but remember Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." You have come such a long way in the last 3 weeks. I find it kinda ironic, but we know its a "God thing"", that 3 weeks ago Satan tried to take the lives of 5 young ladies, Jalin, Kaydra, Kristen, Morgan, & Amy, but God had other plans. He had His hands on these girls and spared their lives. On October 29th four of the five walked out of the hospital and now exactly 3 weeks later, Jalin is coming home, IN YOUR FACE SATAN!!!! We serve an awesome God.
Jalin, as you take the next big step in your journey please remember where God has brought you from and where He can take you; as far as you will allow Him. As you have sung so many times, "How Great Is Our God."
You are a very special young lady, of course most of us have always known that, now everyone has witnessed just how special you are. God takes the strongest and uses them for his Glory, you have proven how strong you are and I can't wait to see what He has planned for your life. I know it is beyond our imagination what He has planned for you, your family, & our church. Ya'll better hold on, its gonna be a ride, praise be to you JESUS!

How wonderful it was to see Jalin's car coming down the hill at the school!!!! Everyone was so proud to see Jalin and she looks soooo great.!!! Lori and Darryl, I could see the Joy in your faces because you have your baby girl home!! Praise the Lord!!!This was a very emotional time for all the students and faculty. Many tears were shed, but they were tears of Joy and Thankfulness, because our Saviour performed so many miracles on Jalin and spared her life so she can be a witness for him.
