Praise God for this new day! Jalin's last chest tube has been removed! Please pray that her lung will continue to inflate and deflate like it is supposed to do. She also took a ride in a wheelchair this morning about 9:00! Now that was a miracle! We strolled through the unit hallways and out into the waiting area on a fieldtrip. It wore her completely out. She is back in the bed asleep with the help of her pain meds. This is a huge step toward coming home!
We thank you for all of your love and support. This blog really gives me much needed strength!

I just can't wait to get home each day and find out how Jalin is doing! I was SO excited about today's post. She has SOOO many prayers going up for her! She has been padded by prayer during this whole journey! It has made me stop and think and realize how precious life is and how GOD is still working miracles! I would LOVE to be able to be in the first church service she's able to attend. I know it wll truly be a BLESSING! I am the pianist of our church but I'm sure I could get someone to fill in. ReplyDeleteI praise GOD for another set of miracles! Bro. Ricky Shadrix just informed me about what happened to Jalin. In case you are not familiar with who I am, I own the company that handles your janitorial supplies at your church, Southern Supply. Your church prayed for my daughter Quinn a few months ago when she almost died from a rare virus which attacked her heart. God has healed Quinn with one miracle after the next, just as he has with Jalin. Alana had Quinn put on your church's prayer list. Quinn was in Egleston for over 30 days. GOD performed a miracle everyday we were there. I was just visiting Ricky Shadrix the other day when he told me about Jalin. I continue to pray for GOD's perfect power to heal Jalin perfectly! I don't think a day goes by when I have not just broken down and praised GOD for all the miracles he performed with healing Quinn. Jalin and Quinn are only here because of the AWESOME miracles that our wonderful GOD has performed! As I continue to pray everyday for Quinn, I will also be praying for Jalin.

We don't understand why things happen, but I know God chooses special people to help him with his work here on earth and He has chosen you. So much good has already come out of this accident. One day you will look back and feel honored that God loved you enough to trust you to work with Him. When you are very low and down or in pain, just remember you aren't alone. God is right there helping you through this. Put your total trust in Him. As soon as you are up to company, I want to come see you. I think of you everyday.
