"Jalin's Journey"
Round #1 - Jesus Christ -(1) Satan - (0) (We do serve an Awesome God!!!!!!!!!) Satan is no match for Our King!
Jalin is doing so Great- Tired, Beat Up, Bruised, Weak-(Yeah) But headed in the right direction!
She has been moved into a step-down room!!!!!!!- Yeah -That's right -You are hearing me right!So much better- We have a couch/bed and Lori and I can take turns spending the night- They took alot of the wires and all off of her- She still has oxygen and IV's and 4 Chest tubes - but the annoying monitors are gone- Her Bp is great her vitals are great. A Miracle of god! Praise His Holy Name! Can you feel the excitement in my words! How Great Is Our God!
Friends, we still have a long way to go, she still has alot to overcome. The Chest Tubes, Lungs, The upcoming Pelvic & collarbone surgery set for Mon or Tue. She is very tired and this transition is quite emotional for my family and I. I want to again thank all of you for such great support thus far. (Over 400 have come and supported Mrs. Lori, Jordan and myself. You are truly loved for all have you have given to us. God is empowering me with His Word and to put it bluntly -It's On! There is no telling what God is going to do in the Days ahead! Look how He has already affected your life. We have been charged to gather the harvest! And to love one another!
Because of the situation change, Jalin's desire as well as Mrs. Lori's and myself is that we give her some time before she has any visitors. They still consider her situation intensive care, and we know all of you would love to come and celebrate our first victory. The doctors are requesting that we keep the visitors to family the next few days. They are not prepared to handle the Blitz! That's so funny! If given the green light, we could pack literally thousands into that waiting room!!! So please - Let's all take a deep breath and thank God for what He has done and in the days ahead - (As Jalin Grows stronger, we will try to let you see her! Thank you for loving us- I beg you please do not stop! Thank you for your Consideration- Victory Is Near! Nite Nite!

God is truly an amazing and awesome God, and for anyone who doesn't believe in the power of prayer then they must not know of you and your journey. You are living proof that God listens to and answers prayers. Words cannot express the great emotions that I felt when I read this blog today. I am so glad to hear that you are doing much better. I know you still have a few more mountains to climb, but you know as well as I do that you will have God with you every step of the way. Dino was sitting there, but he informed us that your mom & dad were in your room! How Awesome!!! We are so glad that you are in a room where your mom can stay with you.

I have reminded your mom multiple times of the words of Psalm 91. Read this scripture when you have the opportunity. Someone called and read it to me when Brian was there at UAB and it was so comforting to me. I pray that it will minister to you also.

I know that you are so glad that you mama and daddy are there. That you are awake and doing better every day. We were together at church last night and there was not a girl there that didn't miss you and pray that you are back with us soon. We rejoice that we know that because GOD is so great that you will be. Jalin I don't know how to tell you how much I love you. How much Mo loves you. I don't know why this happened the way it did, but I take comfort in knowing that we serve a God that does know. I can't wait to see what comes of it. ReplyDeleteWe had an all girl pow-wow at church last night and heaven came down. Girls from the wreck shared their testimony, girls at the scene shared what they experienced, & moms shared their thoughts and fears. It was so awesome to hear each and every one share how they have been touched by this trial we are all going through. Satan is out to kill & destroy us all, especially our young people. But he had no idea who he was messing with when he attacked our young people. The power of God's people can overcome anything if we pull together, support & pray for each other, trust in God, and humble ourselves before the LORD. Jalin you are proof of that. You have overcome so many obstacles and God will continue to heal you. Everyday I wake up wondering what God will do today and what milestone you will overcome. You are such and amazing person & you are in the making of an awesome testimony of God's love & grace. I can't wait to hear you share what God has shown you through all this. I love you so much and will continue to pray for you and Pastor Darryl, Ms Lori, & Jordan.

Good morning Jalin, I am in the ISS room writing to you. Every day the students I have want an update on your progress. After I read it to them, we discuss everything and they feel better being able to hear from you. You are truly missed at RHS and so is Mrs. Lori. It is a gloomy day outside, but I know at UAB,God's love is shining brightly in your room. Everyone is so excited about the progress you are making! Our maker is performing miracles on you,that you may not even be aware of!!! I know with Thanksgiving coming up, everyone will be thanking our Savior for what he has done in your life and also the spiritual lives of so many you have touch through your healing process. PRAISE GOD ... I believe Jalin's GOD given victory has not only refreshed the body of CHRIST but has also replenished our spirits,and will continue to do so. Thousands of Christians have come together in one accord to claim God's promised power and peace that the world can neither give nor take away. I stand in awe of Him.

We've taken so much for granted, but one thing is for certain GOD IS AMAZING!! He's so wonderful. It's so hard to believe how far he's gotten you. I love you so much and I can't wait to see you! OH JALIN, we are SO happy to hear the wonderful news. I cried like a baby. I have been so worried about you yet I dont even really know you. But, from reading this journal every day, YOU ARE REALLY CARED FOR! I cant believe how this tradgy has touched so many lives. I guess its bc we take so much for granted and this is an awakening that horrible things can happen but yet there could are even things worse. You are a miracle child. We will continue to pray that you will soon be home and the only thing you have to worry about is going to that aweful rehab. LOL Bro Darryl you are a very kind and loving man and Mrs. Lori my children adore you. I pray you have all the strength that that will get you through this all as GOD is holding Jalin HE is holding you two as well. We love YALL! ReplyDeletei am praying for you every step of the way.Ever since I herd about your accident I started praying.Amangie and I both stayed at the alter for the entire time we were at church, which was a good 2 1/2 hours. We had people come and pray with us and, even the old came and prayed with us.you have people in Holland and Germany praying for you i told them about your accident and they told their friends and now Jalin's Journey isn't just a country thing its an international thing.I know that you and your family have been through hard times and i know that your fighting as hard as you can. Your mother and father are just as strong,but God is with you every step of the way and so is your family and friends. I was told something the other day and it made me think of you and your family "united we can conquer anything,divided we fall" with all the Christians praying for you we are strong but the ones that aint need our help to guide them to our saviors loving arms where we are.
