It has truly been a rollercoaster of a day. This morning at 10:00 Central, Jalin was rescued from her trial with the ventilator. They removed it, however, it has been quite an emotional day. Jalin has had a hard time coming off the sedation meds. It seems those drugs are so potent it causes patients to be confused, hostile, unsettled etc.. We have pleaded with the doctors to allow Mrs. Lori to stay in the intensive care room with her and guide her through. Mrs. Lori has been in the room with Jalin since 2:30pm and will be staying and praying over her and helping her throughout the night. Granny and Dino, Jordan, Jessica and myself will be ready to assist at demand. The problem we are facing is that the heart rate is higher and BP is higher due to anxiety and such. If Jalin fails to gain control the doctors have said it is possible that they may have to insert the ventilator again. We have accepted that but, in the name of Jesus, we will be struggling along side with Jalin to help her to get past this and remain calm. God is our Strength and our Deliverer!

As I just read your last update regarding Jalin's struggle my heart aches for all of you. How I pray that God will intervene and "set Jaline free" from the sedation and ventilator. How I pray that God will calm her fears, as well as yours, Lori, other family members, friends, and loved ones. I pray for strength for all of you and for grace that you might rest in the arms of God as you pass through this difficult time. I know that God will receive all the honor and glory for all He does in this situation. Jalin is beautiful inside and outside; a beautiful witness for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes, what Satan means for evil, God will work for the good. Our God is an awesome God!!
ReplyDeleteIt is great that the vent. was removed and the struggle of the medication has to come sometime or the other. I know that GOD will give you all the strength to support Jalin thru this. We continue to PRAY on behalf of the whole family... Jalin is in the hands of the LORD and I know he will deliver. It is great that the staff allowed someone to be by her side and our Prayers is with Mrs. Lori that she has the strength to help Jalin. This is a very trying time for the entire family and it is so GREAT that everyone is standing by each others side. The Power of God has no boundaries. You are all in our Prayers... Jordan AND Jessica, God has a GREAT purpose for you both -- it is so good to know that the young still has a heart when it comes to trying times...God is going to heal Jalin and the JOY is yet to come. Jalin was such a Angel before and God has took her to make her something INCREDIBLE -- can't wait to see the GLORY and I pray that is is very soon.
ReplyDeleteWow I don't even know what to say. I am so glad that they are letting Mrs. Lori stay with her. I know it must be hard on her, but I am sure she wouldn't have it any other way. Her calm spirit will help Jalin through this. I pray that Jalin will be breathing on her own and with God's peace all over her before the night is over. ReplyDeleteWe'll never know the reason for these trials down here, but we're going to a place where all these questions will be answered.
I didn't have the privilege to watch over my son, because God knew I couldn't handle it. God has granted us all the privilege to pray and worry over Jalin, and He has allowed her suffering for good, may His name be praised. I believe that Jalin will overcome this and continue her marvelous ministry here for a long time. She is a total miracle.

ReplyDeleteI know that only God can sustain you during this trial....and Jalin is somewhat alone (with only the Lord) even if you are there. I pray that she will find sweet peace and comfort from the one who can cover you with warmth without a blanket. Those drugs are wonderful when you really need them but some people have a hard time dealing with them, makes them feel anxious and afraid...if she can just make it until them have cleared her system. We love you and pray that this will be the last hard day. God Bless and keep all

It's great to hear that Jalin is off the vent.Bless her heart I know she has got to be scared.She has been through so much.Maybe Lori being back there with her will give her the comfort she needs.I'm 41 years old and I would be scared beyond measure if even I was going through a portion of what Jalin is going through.We are praying that she gets the comfort she needs to bring her vitals back to normal so she want have to get the vent back.We are praying for all of ya'll to keep up your strength.Please if ya'll need us for anything don't hesitate to call.God is in control,and through him we can move mountians.Through all the prayers that are being sent up for Jalin and for all you guys Jalin will be well and home soon.We can't wait for that day to come.We love ya'll.

Hello. I was so glad to hear all the good news about Jalin. I know that its a relief for us to hear it and I know how much joy it is bringing to you guys. Every little improvemnet is a reassurance that God is in control and is hearing and answering prayers. I am so sorry to hear that she is having a bad time coming off the sedation, but I also know that it will do wonders for both Jalin and Lori for her to have her Mama there. There is nothing quite like a Mama's soothing touch, voice, and love. It is the most amazing comfort. For both. We love you guys and are thinking of you always.

God is working miracles in the lives of those around you by showing just how precious life is and just how little time it takes to completely wipe away a plan.
You are a beautiful girl and have already been blessed beyond measure. As hard as it may be to swallow, it all happened to show Christ through your life and to bring others to Chrst. The boundaries are limitless as to your testimony and of how many lives you have and will change.

I am so happy to hear that Jalin was able to come off the vent. It breaks my heart to know that she is so scared. I can not stand the thought of my kids being scared, but when they are they always want their mama. I am so glad that the Dr. let Mrs. Lori stay with her. There is something about a mama..and it does not matter how old you get!!! We will continue to pray that God will just pour his peace out on Jalin and the rest of you there with her. We love you!

That being said if we can keep the FAITH know matter how many setbacks come along or them saying the vent might have to go back in. If we ALL can hang in there and keep the FAITH PRAYING and PRAISING GOD for what he has already done and is doing. Then she will be healed! God has His on timing what we might think He should fix ASAP might take longer but know it’s for the best. Who knows how many more people might come to know Him through her journey. I think He wants to make sure we keep the faith know matter what comes our way during Jalin’s journey.
The devil wants to kill her more then anything cause, that might turn people from God, that’s why she is having such a hard time breathing, the devil is making her think she can’t do it. But I got news for the devil God is not going to let this be the end for her! We have seen him heal many people. We have to keep our minds clear cause the mind is the devil’s battleground. His only entrance into your personality, your body, your thinking, and your emotions is through your mind. Recognize that those disturbing thoughts are not your own, and say, “Devil, get out of here. I refuse to think those thoughts!” Recognize the enemy for who he is. Say, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me and lives in me.

What's up girlfriend? I'm so glad that you can breathe with out the vent, but heard that you are having problems with the meds. Don't be scared sweetheart, your mom is holding one hand and God is holding the other. Mother's know how to comfort thier children, and caress them when needed. We had a special prayer for you and your family at church yesterday. Don't you know Satan is doing flips, cause God is doing his wonderfull work on your precious little body. Hang in there guys God will see you through this. My mother had a massive storke in the brian stem on April 4th, she was on a ventilator for two weeks, had to have a feeding tube, then couldn't come off the vent so she had to have a trach. We went to a speciality hospital for two weeks and then rehab for two weeks.Then we were sent home with hospice telling us mother had four to six weeks to live and would never walk again.I said all that to share the rest with you. Well it is November and Mother is still here and walking without much assistance. God is still in control. My mother is truly a blessed person. When this trial is over you will be stonger, and able to help others that may go through this themselves. My family and I have already been through what you are going through with mother, therefore I began praying when they put Jalin on the vent to allow her body to be able to come off of it, and not have to have a trach. If we had not gone through what we did I wouldn't have known to pray for that. Bro. Darryl I believe I have heard you tell Jalin if we don't go through something how can we help others, well as you can just see that is so true. Hope this lifts your hope some. When we brought mother home with the doctors saying she wouldn't live we didn't give up we just kept praying to the one who has all power to heal when noone can hinder and he saw fit to do that just as he will for Jalin. There is not a doubt in my mind she will be back stronger than ever before long. And everyone will see such great things through her. We continue to pray for God to stay by her side and hold her tight. Lori may God bless you, stay strong you are also in the hand of God he is there right with you. Think of how great your love for Jalin is and know God's love for us is even greater. May God bless you all.
