Day 58- Christmas Day 2008

Well, Jalin's Journey has been quite an eye-opener for all of us. I think we have learned that prioritizing God should be on the top of our list for the New Year. I think we have realized that the Sovereignty of God is what has got us all through thus far. His deity shows us that He is Omnipotent (All Powerful), Omniscient, (All Knowing), and Omnipresent,(Everywhere). He really does love us, and is able to do all things.

Jalin has come a long way in the last 58 days. She is beginning to get out a little more. She has been to Church, the basketball games, and a few days ago she actually did a little shopping with some of her "bestus friends". In fact, I believe we had church at the Verizon Store in the mall! Wow! She has been reduced to one shot a day, and now she is manuevering alot in the wheelchair by herself. Please pray. She still gets frustrated with her inability to do things by her self. Her foot pain has been reduced to a minimum-Praise be to God! Our next venture to Birmingham will be on Jan 8th with the Orthopedic surgeon who performed her surgery. This whole episode in our lives has been a lot to swallow, but I know God is going to be glorified for it all. Please be praying for all the opportunities that will be unfolding in 2009 to share God's power of protection. Prayerfully Jalin will be sharing some of her story March 21st at our "Come Together" Youth Crusade - featuring Decemberadio Band- Hillcrest Praise Band- We will be sharing Jalin's Journey -May we all be intentional about gathering the Harvest for His Kingdom! I love you guys and pray great empowerment over your lives for the way you have ministered to my family. Merry Christmas and Hey!! -Happy New Year!

  4. Hey Guys,
I still love hearing new updates on the blog! I'm so happy to hear that things are going better and better (or gooder and gooder) for Jalin. I know from time to time you enter that the comments left are uplifting for you, but remember to keep this in mind, the way you and your family have handled this whole situation has really helped many. Myself for one!!!
I hope God continues to heal Jalin and that for all you do in His name you are richly rewarded!!!
Continuing to pray God's blessings on you...

  5. Well, I have read through this entire blog. I cried once, and it was so empowering to read through each step that you took. I am a born again believer also like Jalin, I am just 12 years old. Reading this blog really builds my faith. I thank you very much for that.
